1st thing to do is Know Where You Stand
First of all, practice a mock test or last year's CLAT exam paper. One test will let you figure out your weak and strong areas.
After identifying them, set a short 50-day plan. Spend more time on your weak areas without leaving your strengths altogether.
Try doing a 2-subject rotation per day, e.g., English + Legal on Day 1, Logical + Quants on Day 2, and so on while keeping the Current affairs section constant. This maintains preparation evenly distributed and prevents boredom. Below the strategy is given in phases, follow it to ensure a smooth preparation.
Phase 1 where u can develop clarity and accuracy ..(Day 1- 30)
The first 30 days are spent on concept building and regular practice.
- English Language
- Read two editorials every day...one from The Hindu and one from Indian Express.
- Practice tone, inference, and conclusion-based questions.
- Practice comprehension-based questions from FLAMES Score Booster sets.
- Rewrite grammar rules lightly and don't overindulge in vocabulary lists...emphasis on usage instead.

- Don't memorize laws by rote…learn how to logically apply principles.
- Logical Reasoning
- Attempt 20–25 questions every day from last year's CLAT sets.
- Practice assumption, inference, and statement-conclusion type of questions.
- Read the passages slowly and underline transitions such as "however," "but," or "therefore" they tend to hold the logic shift.
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Use 30 minutes every day for data interpretation and percent questions.
- Practice simple arithmetic...ratio, averages, profit-loss, and time-speed-distance.
- Do not leave Quant altogether as this section is the real game changer and this decodes the difference between a ranker and an aspirant.

Phase 2 for mock tests, revision & confidence..(Day 31-50)

Maintain an error notebook and jot down the type of questions you answer incorrectly and practice them prior to the next test. Avoid working on new content during this period. Stick to what you have already learned. Practice GK from your short notes or monthly capsules and don't take up on new PDFs.

Practical Tips from FLAMES Mentors
1. Consistency trumps intensity: read a little every day.
2. Re-evaluate each mock: the difference between 90 and 110 marks is review, not practice.
3. Read to comprehend, not to memorize as CLAT follows comprehension, not cramming.
4. Mimic exam environment: take complete 2-hour mocks without breaks.
5. Remain cool: take short breaks, sleep well, and eat well.
Final 3 Days
Revise everything: notes, GK points, and key legal concepts. Try one light mock test just to maintain the flow. Sleep well on the eve of the examination. Rest up for the main day.
Conclusion
Fifty days might look brief, but to a serious aspirant, it's ample. You just require the appropriate combination of study, revision, and self-study.
Keep in mind, CLAT is not a test of how many books you've read; it's a test of how clearly you can think for two hours. Stick to trusted material such as the FLAMES GK Sure Shot series and FLAMES Score Booster mocks, practice regularly, and keep your confidence intact.
